Sales manager wins Parking Australia Young Achiever Award

Care Park’s Sales Manager Jenna White has been named Parking Australia’s Young Achiever of the Year at the 2018 Parking Industry Awards held at The Star, Gold Coast on 1 November.

Jenna’s work in finding positive solutions for rough sleepers in car parks and rolling out the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) message in Care Park car parks were highlighted in her award win.

Empowering rough sleepers was the approach taken by Jenna. She engages with corporate clients to create partnerships and sponsorship programs to provide further support to the rough sleepers in car parks.

Jenna has led Care Park to create a specific rough sleeper policy that provides a safer environment for them, participating and raising funds at the CEO Sleepout and partnering with St Vinnies and Launch Housing to find better solutions.

The Care Park, corporate and community partnership provides rough sleepers with personal assistance, accommodation and food to restart their lives.

The policy has significantly reduced the number of rough sleepers in Care Park car parks by 40% since 2017.

Care Park’s sponsorship of the Safer Australian Roads and Highways program (SARAH) is promoting greater driver awareness to create both safer roads and safer car parks.

Jenna’s win was reinforced by her recognition of significantly increasing Care Park’s monthly parking customers through a number of innovative programs including the “Parking With Benefits” programs.

Jenna represents one of the many dynamic people at Care Park driving innovation and change to the parking industry. Care Park provides platinum solutions with a personalised service.
