Asia Pacific’s leading car park management services provider, Care Park Asia has been appointed manager of the 4000 bay Plaza Damas retail, office, residential and hotel complex in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The sophisticated complex comprises the Sri Hartamas shopping centre, the Waldorf and Windsor Towers apartment complex and the podium area which comprises a range of retail and offices known as Plaza Damas 1. The complex also includes the Plaza Damas 3, across the road and linked by a walk bridge which houses the Damas apartments and Damas Suites serviced accommodation and the podium area of retail and office suites.
The Plaza Damas 3 complex is currently undergoing an expansion with the construction of a new hotel on the site. Completion is expected by the end of this year.
Care Park’s parking management at the Plaza Damas complex comprises a mixture of large scale basement parking on 3 levels and outdoor street level parking with boom gated entry and exit controlled operations and auto pay stations.
Parking at the complex allows for both public parking and also season parking to accommodate corporate and commercial business parking clients and parking for residents of the apartment towers.
Care Park will begin to introduce a number of state-of-the-art parking systems to improve quality of parking services to customers. These include new CDS technology, new operations procedures, signage improvements and an online payments system for season parkers.
The Plaza Damas continues to add to Care Park’s expanding Malaysian portfolio of car parking management locations. Care Park provides consulting services to Komtar JBCC shopping centre in Johor; manages the Setapak Central shopping centre in Kuala Lumpur and by the end of this year will have added a number of other prestigious property locations to its Malaysian management portfolio.
